”Why is this world caught up so much in religion and God. Why not be more realistic to fit with the realities of life today?”

.
 .
You are aware that everything that you see with your eyes is not there
You were taught it at school
Everything consists of atoms, and atoms are just energy in motion
For a very long time we have known that we are simply life forms living in a field of energy in space
 .
 .
Subatomic particles were discovered in 1897,
and in 1899 Ernest Rutherford gave us The Atomic Model.
But it was only with the rise of the video game industry in 1971 and the advances in Virtual Reality Games in 1991 that humanity was able to grasp how it is that they can be living in an electrical field yet things appear solid around them
 .
 .
So the reality of life today is that people are beginning to accept that there is more going on here
than simply being born, fighting for survival, and dieing

An atom is made of protons, neutrons and electrons
Richard Muller wrote :-
.

“The apparent mass of the electron changes when it moves through a crystal, like silicon or quartz.
So maybe the mass of the electron is an illusion
Electrons behave as if they have mass, but they don’t really.
It’s just that they are moving through a crystal-like substance.
This crystal-like substance was eventually called the Higgs field.
It fills all of space, which is why particles behave as if they have mass”

If to be “realistic” is to concentrate on shelter, food, entertainment & bowel movements
there are many parts of the world where this gives satisfaction enough
However those in advanced countries have a higher vision,
and as it is becoming more and more obvious that we are not the masters of our environment
 or of our lives
they are starting to enquire what is
